Moonology by Yasmin Boland

Make the seemingly impossible possible with Moonology! Have you ever tried to make something work and it just felt impossible? This book may well be the missing link you need. Understanding the Moon’s magical eight phases will help you to improve and empower every aspect of your life.

This book was unexpectedly given to me underneath the Christmas tree, but one that I’d wanted to read for quite some time. I’ve always had a fascination with space and the sky AND as you know I’m a big advocate of looking after your soul. Moonology goes one step further. It teaches you about how the moon and can be used as a healing mechanism; a tool to visualise and manifest your dreams. From the first page I was hooked.

I inhaled this book. I just couldn’t put it down. Given that I’m already fascinated with horoscopes was probably a big reason for this. I found myself turning the pages with eagerness, writing notes along the margins, stopping to Google meanings, figure out my rising sign (this was totally enlightening!) and look at the moon’s current sign. I think I was naturally curious about the moon that day. It was the 1st January 2018 and we were in full Wolf Moon phase.

The book taught me so much about myself. There were moments where I laughed out loud at the accuracy of what Yasmin was discussing. It was like she was reading my mind. Even sharing passages out aloud to my boyfriend, he too agreed how uncanny some of the information was. There is certainly a lot to be said about the moon, the universe and the incredible power that lies within them.

Yasmin has written the book in an easy to understand, captivating way. If you’ve never looked at ‘Moonology’ before then I encourage you to read this book. Even if your just a little bit curious. I came away armed with thoughts, lessons about ‘Houses’, notes on lunar cycles, an eagerness to manifest on the next New Moon and super excited for the year ahead! Just what we all need for the New Year!
